Life 2.0

On my way to work today, I was listening the postcast Life 2.0 for the web 2.0 by podtech.net through my iPod. It is amazing to hear how the technology makes the life 2.0 possible. The housing price in Sillicon Valley is too damn high and too damn small. Nowadays, it is too luxury to have a 1 acre lot to plant some fruit trees or some vegatables. I was so frustrated to shop for the house around valley during the past a few month. The one I can afford is not the one I like. The one I like is the one I can't afford :(

Why not move to some other remote areas to work remotely while enjoying the life? It could be a good idea. One of my friends is planning to quit his full time job from a top valley company to be a freelancer and live in his home at the border of Oregon and Washington. Should I do the same?
