Sigh! Out of power today ...

The power surge this afternoon brought the darkness to the office. I was in the middle of coding... I lost everything -:(((

After half an hour tea and half an hour mini-golf game, the power still wasn't back. Still have bugs to fix and the code freeze should happen tonight ... But no power! What can I do? Without power, computer is useless, and software is useless.

Luckily, still had power at home. Laid down watch TV - Jacky Chen's "who I am". Not bad. Ordered some Chinese togo ($14 - 3 dishes plus soup). My friends' parent owned the restaurant. And also got a free "Smoked Chichen leg"....

Went back to my computer and tried to connected to my PC at office through VPN. Bingo... I got connected. The power was back!! Wait a second. The view server was down. I couldn't retrieve any source code. Some network devices (either switch or router) must be damaged. Too bad, without network, I couldn't do my work either. Sorry, boss! I would rather go back to Huston Rocket to "play" with Yao Ming ...
