Facebook Developer Garage
I went the Facebook Developer Garage today. It was supposed to be only 200+ attendees, however, almost over 500 people showed up. Facebook was rocketing.
The talk was quite technical and had the very good sharing.
As a trend of the industry, lots of software vendors are opening their platform to allow interaction with others. Web Service finally starts taking off. You can imagine that the future of the net is all about little services connecting with each other. It is a very good chance for the small players, such as a one-man software developer, to get his stuff exposed or used by others through the big player, such as facebook, Google, Yahoo or myspace. All of them expose their APIs and you can utilize their user to get your product to be used. And someday, I will be one of those :)
