Browser Wars: Episode II Attack of the DOMs
Today I went to a seminar - Browser Wars: Episode II Attack of the DOMs - at Yahoo. Three main browser vendors, IE, Firefox and Opera, discussed their vision about the browser. Mainly, things were focused on
1) Standardization - conform to W3C standards
2) Performance
3) Extensions. (Opera has the native video support. Amazing!)
We can see that the browser as a development platform are becoming more and more important. In the future, people build application won't care about the OS platform.
